The VD8 series is a line of digital compact vacuum meters manufactured by Thyracont. These tools are used for measuring absolute pressure in the range of 1600 mbar to 5 x 10⁻⁴ mbar. The vacuum gauges are equipped with either internal or external sensors that display high and low values of pumps. These devices provide a broad measurement range with good resolution and accuracy. They can also function as a data logger to keep pressure data during the measurement for optimized memory usage. The tools are provided with a USB interface for easy data transfer and convenient configuration of vacuum gauge parameters. The VacuGraph™ software enables an easy visualization and analysis of data on a PC. his is especially beneficial in applications where data must be documented e.g. by saving and comparing pump-down characteristics for audits and quality assurance. Practical features like the tool to calculate the leakage rate complete the software.
