ApplicationsNearly every hydraulic system contains a filter, though location varies. Some are placed in front of the pump intake, but a clogged filter in this position can damage the pump. Others are found between the pump and the control valve, a more expensive solution. The filter also can be installed upstream of the accumulator return.
