Your suggestions for improvement:
An RFID (radio-frequency identification) antenna is used by a reader to exchange information with an RFID, or radio tag on an object. In some cases, the antenna is part of the reader. This essential system element enables tag activation, data transfer and recording to the tag's memory.
ApplicationsThese antennas are used to remotely mark and trace stationary or moving objects in various settings, for example, pallet movement, cold chain verification, financial transactions, animal identification and automation of industrial processes. They are also found in modern vehicle door and ignition keys.
TechnologiesMedium- and long-range readers require one or more external antennas to receive distant signals from the RFID chip. Frequency range varies with specific use and applicable regulations.
How to chooseChoice will depend on range, interior or exterior use, signal penetration and transmission speed. Compact antennas are favored in public spaces, a broadband model for large-scale operations and a high-performance antenna where enhanced transmission capability is required.
