Description

Air Venturi Vacuum Generator Pump for Workholding, Fixturing and Clamping The Air Venturi Vacuum Generator Pump is used for Vacuum Chuck workholding applications, solid or liquid materials transfer, and custom hold down fixturing applications. It can also be used as an AC Vacuum Pump to evacuate air conditioning systems. The Air Venturi Vacuum creates a vacuum by supplying compressed air to the supply port. When air pressure is applied the Air Venturi creates a vacuum at one end. The air is then exhausted out the other end. These Air Venturi Vacuums have a filter free straight through design which helps prevent clogging by debris. Constructed in two materials: Anodized Aluminum, and PTFE (Teflon). Excellent for workholding, fixturing, clamping applications (Vacuum Chucks, custom hold down fixturing, suction cups, etc.), and solid or liquid materials transfer. Straight through, filter free design prevents clogging and passes materials, dirt, liquids, and contaminants. Available in Solid Anodized Aluminum and PTFE (Teflon) which allows for use in harsh, dirty environments and clean rooms. Anodized Aluminum Air Venturi Vacuums are available in standard NPT of 1/16", 1/8", 1/4", and 3/8" NPT, and 10-32 UN Connections. PTFE (Teflon) Air Venturi Vacuums are available in standard NPT of 1/16", 1/8" and 1/4". Maximum vacuum generated is 22" HG - 26" HG (10.8 psi - 12.8 psi). The Vacuum may be adjusted from 0" HG to the maximum vacuum by loosening the locking nut and turning the exhaust end of the vacuum. Only 70-80 psi air pressure is required to obtain the maximum vacuum.
