A thermoplastic material Fused Deposition Modeling is a 3D printing technology which allows to manufacture parts by adding layers of material. Employed materials are thermoplastic polymers. Extrusion manufacturing The machine works like an extruder, it brings the material to its fusion point to generate a thread of about 0,05 millimeters of diameter. The nozzle moving on the x, y axes allows to lay down this hot thread on one layer. The platform goes down between each sequence to pile one layer on the top of the other until creating the 3D object.
