Description
Brass rub blocks monitor belt misalignment in bucket elevators and conveyors by detecting heat from friction caused by a misaligned belt rubbing against the brass.
A temperature sensor in the block triggers an alarm and shutdown when a trip-point is reached.
Installed in pairs on opposite sides, the sensors can connect to a PLC or an independent monitoring system like 4B’s T500 Elite Hotbus™, Watchdog™ Super Elite, or T400N Elite Hotswitch.
Inspection doors allow for easier maintenance and testing.
