The fanged elevator bolt engineered by 4B is characterized by two sharp teeth that are intended to penetrate the carcass of the elevator belt. Once the teeth penetrate the belt, they help keep the bolt from spinning which easily allows the lock nut to be tightened.
It is equipped with a flat bolt head that functions for the reduction of risk of rip out issues of the bolt, due to head protruding from the back to the belt. In addition, it is designed with a large bolt head diameter to deliver an utmost resistance for pull through.
