A&D Apollo High Capacity, the GX-M/GF-M series, are high-capacity precision balances designed to provide excellent protection from common accidents in weighing, which helps to prevent loss due to downtime while also guaranteeing maximum productivity. Specifically, their IP65-rated dust/waterproof construction eliminates the risk of damage due to spillage of powder or liquid materials. The impact shock detection (ISD) function visualizes and logs the magnitude of impact shocks on the weight sensor caused by machines or rough operators, which thereby allows preventive measures to be taken as necessary. The tare memory and auto power ON functions can restore the net value on the display in the event that an unexpected interruption of power supply occurs during measurement. The balance can be password-protected in order to prevent changes to balance configuration or sensitivity by unauthorized individuals. In addition to the above benefits, the balance is capable of applying A&D’s patented electronically controlled load (ECL) for fast, automatic precision (repeatability) assessment at the point of use. For users who want to measure flow rates of pumps, feeders, etc., the balance can calculate and display/output them by itself. This function makes flow rate measurement much easier and more precise than manual calculation using a stopwatch. A&D Apollo High Capacity include seven models with an internal calibration function (GX-M) and seven models without an internal calibration function (GF-M), with capacities and readabilities ranging from 8.2-32.2 kg and 0.01-0.1/1 g respectively. All models are equipped with RS-232C and USB interfaces as standard.
