The low-voltage regulation system LVRSys® is a cost-effective alternative to a network extension. This flexible voltage stability solution for network operators and industrial networks pays off when deployed in any low-voltage networks which have sufficient short-circuit capacity but where voltage stability is a problem.
A flexible and robust system
From years of experience, we know that developed systems have to be robust and flexible. Unlike with a regulated local grid transformer, only those parts are designed to be regulated which are affected by voltage stability problems. The distribution grid is supplemented flexibly and according to need. A smart grid doesn’t just have to be smart, it also has to be resilient. The system is short-circuit-proof to 50 kA, shows great stability in the face of overloads, direct and indirect lightning strikes and is overload-resistant like an NH fuse.
Network compatible, easy to install
The system has no effect on the network, meaning it neither causes flickers nor harmonics. It ensures voltages are kept symmetrical through phase-independent regulation and can be integrated into any existing fuse design. It also guarantees an uninterruptible voltage supply.
Simple installation, intuitive and safe
To make the application of the low-voltage regulation system as intuitive as possible, its installation has been designed to be analogous to that of the cable distribution cabinet. Unlike a standard network regulator, the system can be connected in the usual way via vertical fuse rails. Safety is paramount for us. The system is fully enclosed, guaranteeing the lowest possible risk of contact.
