Description

S200 I/O for Satt, used with SattLine Series 200 and CPU80, SattCon 200 and Advant Controller 250, a complete range for various process applications. Bus compatible with the series S200C units, the S200 I/O's can be mixed with them in any order on the same DIN rail. The units in the I/O system are intended for use in industrial environment and they fulfil the EMC directive 89/336/EEC. They may be mounted centrally at the Central System or remotely and interconnected to the controller via various field buses. Configuration of the I/O units' functions and measuring ranges is performed using the system software. LEDs are located on the front indicating the signal status. It is possible to remove/insert the units under system power on. Power for the internal logic is provided on the serial bus via the adapter for the I/O system. The inputs and outputs are filtered and galvanically isolated by optocouplers. SattCon 200, Advant Controller 250, SattLine 200 Series and CPU80 uses the units of S200 to varying extents, in various combinations. S200 I/O life cycle status S200 I/O is in the Active life cycle phase. Upgrade Secure the SattLine installations for the future via stepwise upgrade of SattLine Series 200 to the actively supported SattLine 3.0 CPU80 controller and new communication modules. Stepwise upgrade the S200 I/O to The S800 I/O. Evolve ABB has conversion tools available to evolve SattLine to System 800xA, with proven use in several large plants. When evolving to a system to System 800xA, the S200 I/O modules can be kept.
