The food shredder is designed for the disposal of food waste from the preparation area. The food residues from preparation are fed into a filling opening and shredded by means of a twin-­shaft grinder. The residues are not macerated! Thanks to cutting units of different sizes and speeds, the cutter­bar rotors are self-­cleaning. The shredded waste falls into the dis­charge tank and is transferred to the food waste collecting tank (MFWS) by means of compressed air or vacuum.
