It allows to test, by vacuum, the tightness of heat sealed solid product packaging or seals containing air, such as blisters, sachets, doypack, yogurt, tray and even mechanical assemblies.
The presence of a leak is detected with the appearance of bubbles in the water during depression, and so is precisely localized.
A perforated plexiglas plate, called a presser, allows the product to be held in immersion.
