This machine is used to test heat-sealed plastic and metalloplastic tubes, doypacks, bags and other packaging, directly on the production line or laboratory. Why do you have to test your weld ? During heat sealing, weld defects may appear due to electrode temperatures, material thicknesses, presence of impurities. The sources of faults in this process are numerous and the implementation of reliable control as close as possible to the production line is essential. It is a quick, simple, affordable and completely reliable test deployed by a large number of packaging manufacturers. Function The ATS device is involved in a destructive frequency control which consists in raising the internal pressure of the tube, by external compression. It highlights the leaks and micro-leaks by applying the solder. The shapes of the presser, the pressure exerted and the points of support depend on the tubes and materials tested. Thanks in particular to its intuitive design and these various accessories, it allows the operator to perform a repeatble test and verifies the integrity of the weld by the absence of leaks under the effect of a crushing force applied to the sample to be tested. After setting the time delay and opening the ATS door, place the sample, close the door, the cycle starts automatically. As a reminder, it allows to two kinds of tests to be set up: Micro-leak test which increases with pressurization and causes bursting Burst test to determine the strength of welds.
