Description

Low-frequency ultrasonic transducer for transmitting or receiving the ultrasonic shear waves in two operating frequencies for ultrasonic pulse velocity testing and characterization of material properties. A general-purpose low-frequency transducer with the nominal frequency of 50 KHz and 300 KHz for the dry-point-contact (DPC) excitation or acquiring ultrasonic shear waves in highly scattering materials (concrete, wood, stones etc.) It can be used in ready-made housing with the Lemo00 plug or non-wired for self-tailored applications, e.g. for customization of transducer arrays by the customer. The transducer can be driven by following ACS instruments: • A1560 Sonic-LF • A1220 MONOLITH Transducer type - Dry Point Contact Ultrasonic wave mode - Longitudinal Nominal frequency - 50 KHz and 300 KHz Band width - 20 to 80 KHz and 150 to 400 KHz Capacity - 5000±500 pF Maximal pulse voltage (bipolar) - 400 V (peak-to-peak) Temperature range - -20 to +50ºC Weight - 14 g
