Description

Shear wave ultrasonic phased array transducer for weld joint testing The ultrasonic phased array transducer M9065 is intended to perform ultrasonic flaw detection in weld joints and other metallic objetcs by transmitting and receiving ultrasonic shear waves. The transducer can be used as a part of TFM Phased Array ultrasonic flaw detectors. The transducer can be driven by the following ACS instruments: • A1550 Introvisor • A1525 Solo Type of transducer - angle-beam, piezoelectric Type of generated wave mode - shear Number of elements - 16 Pitch size - 2.5 mm Nominal frequency - 4 MHz Nominal refracted beam angle in steel - 55° Nominal operation angle range - 30...80° Piezo-element electric capacity - 1500 ± 150 pF Maximum excitation pulse voltage, V - ± 250 V Operating temperature range - –20...+45°C Dimensions - 90 × 42 × 22 mm Weight with cable - 200 gr
