The CDC-CI series is a rotary valve for pneumatic conveying by ACS. It is equipped with round flanges that support material flow and improve cleaning. The CDC-CI can be used as a replacement for Carter Day® type CI rotary valves, for simple and fast drop-in. The valve is enclosed in a large, cast iron housing barrel with high strength and solidification, providing more material throughput. It operates with a maximum temperature of 500°F, and easily manages pressure differentials up to 15psig. The requirement of low maintenance and cost are satisfied by its shaft seal design. In addition, an 8-vane rotor is included with beveled tips and sides.
