Description

Low-frequency ultrasonic transducer for transmitting or receiving the shear-horizontal ultrasonic waves in a broad frequency range from 120 to 340 KHz through-transmission testing. A general-purpose low-frequency transducer with the nominal frequency of 250 KHz for the dry-point-contact (DPC) excitation or acquiring shear-horizontal ultrasonic waves in highly scattering materials (concrete, wood, stones etc.) It can be used in ready-made housing with the Lemo00 plug or non-wired for self-tailored applications, e.g. for customization of transducer arrays by the customer. The transducer can be driven by following ACS instruments: • A1560 Sonic-LF • A1220 MONOLITH Transducer type - Dry Point Contact Type of generated wave mode: - Shear-horizontal Nominal frequency - 250 KHz Capacity - 980 pF ± 100 pF Maximal pulse voltage (bipolar) - 400 V (peak-to-peak) Temperature range - -20 to +50ºC Weight - 14 g
