The Addfield C500 is a modern pharmaceutical waste incinerator designed to burn solid waste in a clean and environmentally safe manner.
Using the pyrolytic principles of combustion, the C500 model has been specifically design for burning clinical waste from hospitals and research centres at a rate of up to 500kg/hr. The machine is equipped with the necessary control systems, a primary and secondary after chamber with a two second residue time. The machine is available with an automatic bin tipper system, automatic ram charging system, vertical opening door, automatic de-ashing and gas cleaning equipment to satisfy the most stringent environmental standards.
The primary combustion chamber arrangement is a multiple stepped hearth refractory, with waste loading taking place at the highest level. Each hearth has an evacuation ram to manoeuvre the residue through the chamber and finally into the ash treatment zone. This design enables continuous operation during a 24 hour period with automatic ash removal during the cycle. Only with this stepped hearth arrangement can a high capacity burn process happen. The movement of waste throughout the machine removes any potential cold spots, agitated the waste and allowing for an immensely high combustion efficiency.
Manufactured in Britain, to an extremely high standard, the machine uses heavy gauge steel work and a multi-layers brick lined refractory for maximum efficiency.
