Description

Aerolift designs customised lifting solutions for the tunnel boring machine (TBM) industry. Our vacuum lifting devices are applied in various places in the process from concrete to tunnel. We offer solutions for production and storage facilities, but also for transport handling and inside the tunnel boring machine! The unique properties of vacuum handling enable demoulding, lifting and turning of the tunnel segments in one operation. Moreover, if you demould by embeds the curing time needs to be at least 24 hours. Due to the divided surface pressure of a suction pad demoulding is mainly possible after 8 till 10 hours! After removing the concrete from the mould, you can turn the concrete product and store it either horizontally or vertically, regardless of shape and weight. Other benefits of using vacuum lifting solutions instead of other lifting methods: •No additional costs, because no embeds are needed; •Handling goes fast with less manpower; •Less change of damage during handling •Reduced change of accidents, because no one has to be near the load before, during or after handling; •More safe due to an alarm system and hang-on time; •Efficient use of storage space.
