The portable filtering unit AER 201 is suitable for the extraction of welding smokes (intermittent use) with medium-low concentrations of pollutants in closed or difficult-to-reach environments, where standard extraction devices cannot be used. AER 201 is provided standard with a flexible hose with capture nozzle and a magnetic positioner for a stable positioning. It is possible to add an optional discharge flexible hose (T19 Ø 50 mm L. 2 m) and welding torches with integrated fume extraction. The unit is not suitable for the use in potentially hazardous work areas. Structure AER 201 has a powder coated steel casing resistant to accidental impacts but also light for an easy transportation. The unit has a DC brush motor and it is provided with motor protection and electronic speed regulator. Filter section The filter section consists of a metallic spark arrestor, a cartridge filter and an active carbons filter.
