This antenna may also be used in the receive mode and is ideal when high electric fields are to be measured. A unique feature to this monopole antenna is that it has a manual control switch that splits its operating frequency into two bands. Band 1 covers the 1 KHz to 5 MHz and band two covers the 5 MHz up to 30 MHz frequencies. Each band has its own RF transformer designed for optimal antenna efficiency.
