ST300 Speed and Temperature Sensor Thru‑hull The ST300, speed and temperature sensor is low in price and short in size. As part of our Shorty™ Series, it is designed for boats with limited headroom. The P371, low-profile, housing option is nearly flush and minimizes drag with only 5 mm (3/16") extending outside of the hull. The P398 countersunk housing mounts flush, eliminating turbulence for more accurate speed readings. Features: - Speed only or speed and temperature - Can be installed in tight spaces with only 153 mm (6") of headroom - Total height of housing is only 75 mm (2.96") - Right-angle cable exit saves space and protects transducer if stepped on - Self-closing water valve reduces water flow when paddlewheel insert is removed for cleaning or storage - Fins on sides of paddlewheel cavity provide improved accuracy in cross-flow conditions - Plastic thru-hull housing is ABYC H-27 compliant - Included rubber washer allows tightening of the hull nut to irregular hull surfaces - P398 countersunk-housing installation requires special cutter - Available in a plastic housing only
