Description

The patented TestMaster® Model LPHE Series Hydrostatic Test Tools are specially designed to grip and provide positive sealing for plain end tubing. The safety spring pre-grips the tube, and the clamping mechanism assure a constant, positive grip during the work cycle. Tools are available with manual lever operation or pneumatic actuation. The tool can be used with a variety of services including helium, water, Skydrol, and other gases and liquids. The Model LPHE Series Tools are suitable for hydrostatic pressure testing with working pressures up to 5,000 psi (345 bar) according to military, nuclear, automotive, and aerospace specifications: API, ASTM, ASME, ISO, DIN, and BS. The compact, balanced design is particularly suited to restricted work areas, such as aircraft lines or heating and cooling systems. The Model LPHE Series Tool handles standard and metric tube, pipe, and fitting sizes from 0.13 in. to 3.00 in. (3.2 mm to 76.2 mm) in diameter. - Specifications Description Tube OD Range: - 0.13 in. to 3.00 in. OD (3.2 mm to 76.2 mm OD) Services: - Helium, water, oil, Skydrol, other gases and liquids Velocity: - Full-flow, high prefill Collet Grip and Seal: - On tube OD Gripping: - Pressure-compensated design for safe operation Tool Operation: - Lever operated or single air-operated Lever Collet Release: - Fast tool removal Special Collet Locking Design Principle: - Accommodates shorter length tube Applications The TestMaster® Model LPHE Series Tool is used for a variety of pressure testing applications.
