The AIXONTEC IP 68 Cat.6A shielded connection module made of a high quality zinc die-cast housing, for easy extension or reactivation of cables in outdoor or other harsh environments. The extender is suitable for all applications (voice and data) of class EA/ 500 MHz up to 10 GbE. Very high quality workmanship and stable transmission characteristics of class EA. The Cat.6A extender can be equipped with wire managers for rigid and flexible cables at the same time. The network connector is supplied with wire managers for rigid as well as stranded conductors (AWG 22-27). Easy handling and tool-free assembly. By opening the cable glands on both sides, two data cables can be connected very easily. Due to the IP 68 waterproof gland a high protection against any ingress as well as a high tensile load is guaranteed. The cable gland can be individually adapted to a cable diameter between Ø 5 to 9.0 mm.
