Incremental linear displacement sensors are suitable for motion control and position measurement of mobiles.
An optical encoder is coupled to the drum of the cable sensor on which the measurement cable is wound and unwound according to the movement of the mobile.
Thus the linear movement of the mobile is converted into a rotary movement which allows the encoder to generate a digital value proportional to the movement of the mobile.
• Measurement range up to 1250 mm
• Incremental output signal
• Resolution from 1 to 100 pulses per mm
• Linearity +/- 0.05% f.s. (+/-0.01% optional)
