AKEMI® Acrylic Spray Filler is a high-quality, one-component filler which contains solvents. The product is characterized by the following properties:
- - fast drying, therefore fast grindability
- - very good adhesion on iron, steel, aluminum or wood
- - particularly high filling properties
- - can be applied in several layers
- - high layer thickness due to good stability
- - easy grindability
AKEMI® Acrylic Spray Filler is used to level of slightly uneven surfaces, to fill scratches as well as grooves caused by grinding thus providing an ideal surface for the following coat of paint. It is especially suitable for use on top of polyester fillers.
1. - The surface must be free of rust and grease, thoroughly cleaned, dry and slightly roughened. After residual rust has been inactivated with AKEMI® Rust Converter, apply AKEMI8 Zinc Spray.
2. - Cover up the areas surrounding the damaged part with masking tape and/or paper.
3. - Before use, shake the can well for several minutes after hearing the steel balls rattle).
4. - Apply several thin layers (at a distance of approx. 25 cm and at intervals of 3 - 5 minutes).
5. - After it has fully dried (after approx. 2 h, in case of thicker layers only after 24 h approx.), wet grinding of the filler with P600 sandpaper (pay particular attention to the transitional areas) should be made, then clean it and let it dry.
6. - Apply AKEMI® Paint Spray for Plastic (if you use another spray paint, carry out a compatibility test first).
