AKEMI® Exhaust Mounting Paste is a sealing paste on the basis of water glass and is free of asbestos. The product is characterized by the following properties: - - easy application - - is hardened by the heat of the exhaust - - high gas tightness - - high heat resistance (approx. 700°C) - - prevents parts rusting together, therefore easy to separate later - - free of solvents and asbestos AKEMI® Exhaust Mounting Paste is used to seal connections in the car exhaust or flues in domestic heating systems. In addition, it prevents parts from rusting together. This enables you to separate them again later without any difficulty. 1. - The parts to be joined must be free of rust, grease, oil and dust. 2. - Apply AKEMI® Exhaust Mounting Paste liberally and then push the parts together. 3. - AKEMI® Exhaust Mounting Paste can be made more pliant with a little water. - - Wear protective gloves when working with the product. - - Objects which have been soiled with AKEMI© Exhaust Mounting Paste can - - be cleaned with water.
