Modern vehicles have high performance engine with hydraulic & transmission systems that uses oil for lubrication, cleaning and cooling purposes. Heat generated from these systems needs to be cooled for proper functioning. Oil flowing through these system collect the heat and exchange it to the ambient air. As the systems operate under high pressure, oil coolers needs to be robust for high working pressures.
