Description

Lightning-fast response times (opening/closing)! Permanently sealed! High inventory levels → short lead times! Robust for the toughest demands! Customer-friendly sleeve replacement! Vacuum-tight! The pneumatic pinch valves of the VM series are available in the nominal diameters of DN10 to DN50. The AKO VM valves are designed with an internal thread connection conforming with DIN ISO 228 (G) and alternatively ANSI/ASME B1.20.1 (NPT) as standard. On request, the VM series pneumatic pinch valves can also be offered with alternative individually customised connections. For information on advantages of AKO pinch valves and their functions, see air operated pinch valves. Pinch Valve Structure of Type VM The structure of the VM series air operated pinch valves encompasses sleeve, pinch valve body, two sockets and two retaining rings. The pinch valve sleeve is positioned in the centre of the VM series air pinch valve's body; both of its ends are pressed in by the sockets, which are screwed to the body over the two retaining rings, thus forming a compact unit. Materials of AKO air operated Pinch Valves VM series A selection of different elastomer grades for the sleeve such as NR, CR, EPDM, FPM, silicone, NBR, IIR, CSM or various sleeves in food quality ensures that the VM series air operated pinch valves have a very wide and practically unrestricted field of application.
