Recording more economical rates, the Expander manufactured by Alliance has lower energy consumption (kW/h) per processed ton. Together with the expanded mass process, the expanded mass cooler is usually used . Our Expander features a grooved self cone and was originally developed by Alliance engineering. Some of the advantages of having an Alliance expander are: greater amount of expanded mass; lower steam consumption per processed ton; heat-treated helicoids and sleeves for greater durability; equipment fully jacketed internally; higher specific weight of the expanded mass, with high porosity for greater percolation and hexane drainage; less amount of fines drawn into the extractor; automatic hydraulic system in the auto cone and automated control of process variables.
