Due to high centrifugal forces in the cyclone separator, the water and dirt particles are "flung" against the inner wall and slide into a collection chamber.
Due to the conical shape of the lower part of the filter housing, entrainment of separated aerosols is impossible. The turbulence-free zone in the lower part of the filter housing prevents condensate that has already been separated from the wet area from being carried away again by the air flow.
The three-part housings with swirl insert offer low differential pressures at high flow rates due to an optimised design.
