Printed Heater, made with carbon paste ink, silver paste ink, Printed Electronics, for HVAC and Heat Pumps
Alper manufactures flexible heaters using screen-printing, a thin transparent PET layer is the substrate for silver printed tracks and carbon ink. Alper's unique technology allows for cost reduction with minor power adjustments (within +/- 20%) by altering the composition of the carbon ink. This innovation is made possible through additive manufacturing, which minimizes waste and keeps production costs low.
Alper flexible electric polyester heaters are exceptionally thin and lightweight, with a thickness reduced to as little as 0.2mm.
These flexible heaters could reach 90°C temperature (100°C for short periods) and ensure homogeneous heat distribution.
Due to these advantages, ultra-thin flexible heaters find applications in diverse industries, including aerospace, naval, automotive, medical, small household appliances, and construction.
This technology gives flexible heaters high ohmic values, target very difficult to be reached by alluminum etched foil processes or cables. The conductive and resistive mixtures adopted by Alper are perfect to assure the highest values of flexibility also during operation, so heaters can work being flexed at the same time.
Upon request Alper can supply a great variety of accessories such as temperature limiters, sensors,…
Alper's enhances production flexibility and supports the development of custom products tailored to customer requirements.
