Description

Municipal and industrial wastewater facilities are continuously monitoring water quality upstream for incoming wastewater, on-site at the treatment facility, and downstream to verify effluent treatment is effective. Regulatory requirements dictate many measurements to be taken and reported on a continuous basis. Multiparameter sensors and sondes are a convenient way to monitor multiple water quality parameters simultaneously. They streamline data collection for maintenance and simplify sensor deployment. Common parameters combined into a sonde for both municipal and industrial wastewater quality include pH, ORP, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, temperature and various ion-selective electrodes. Other parameters, such as nitrate and ammonium, can be added based on the known or anticipated influences to the source water. Parameter Selections pH ORP Reference Conductivity Temperature Dissolved Oxygen Turbidity (wiper included) Ion-Selective Electrode (see table below for range of options)
