Description

Nonlinear deuterated potassium dihydrogen phosphate (DKDP) and KDP crystals can be used for a variety of applications due to their large nonlinear optical and electro-optical coefficients. In nonlinear optics these crystals are most commonly used as the second, third, and fourth harmonic generators for Nd:YAG and Nd:YLF lasers. In electro-optical applications, DKDP crystals are a fairly common choice for Pockels cell production and they also can be used as Q-switches for Nd:YAG, Nd:YLF, Ti:Sapphire and Alexandrite lasers. Altechna offers DKDP crystals with deuteration values of up to 99% and custom sizes are available. Features Good UV transmission High optical damage threshold High birefringence Negative thermal lensing
