The ingeniously designed 334A loop calibrator delivers efficient services in the monitoring of loop signals, inputs in DC V, outputs in mA, and Span percentage values. The extremely resourceful device enables users to calibrate a recorder, I/P, alarm trip, computer or a transmitter in ultra-fast times, thereby imparting high levels of time efficiency in operations.
The device incorporates a QUIK-CHEK switch that provides instantaneous outputs in the range of 4-20 mA with an exceptionally high exactitude of 0.006 mA. It allows sourcing outputs from 0.00 to 24.00 mA or -25.0 to 125.0%. Users can read mA or percentage values to 52 mA, read or simulate transmitters that work on 2-wire circuits. The device enables the measurement of DC power supply from -99.99 to 99.99 volts.
The switch allows achieving outputs of 4 and 20 mA with a precision of ±0.006 mA or enables simulating 2-wire circuits. The device has a full range resolution of 10 Microamp. The display is equipped with 4 digits and is adjustable to ±0.05%, with no alteration in range.
The 334A is outfitted with three 9 Volt alkaline batteries that provide long-lasting services. They can provide 20 mA output for more than 20 hours and 12 mA outputs for an impressive 33 hours. When used for 2-wire simulation or to read transmitters, they can last for an incredible 150 hours. When compared with NiCd batteries or single-battery calibrators, the battery life provided by the 334A is truly long-lasting.
