Description

Concrete Material Use Straingauges Straingauges used for surface strain measurement on concrete, mortar or rock. Civil straingauges are wire strain gauges with a polyester resin or stainless steel backing . The straingauges with a stainless steel backing are suited for long term measurement. The stainless steel back prevents the lowering of insulation resistance caused by the penetration of moisture from the concrete surface. The civil straingauges are perfect for measurement on rock, mortar, steel and concrete. Operational temperature from -20°C up to +80°C. Strain limit of 2% (20000×10-6 strain). Length of the civil straingauges from 10mm up to 90mm.
