The garlic and or onions product is placed in bulk in the elevator hopper which is equipped with devices such as to allow a uniform loading of the garlic and flat onion belt. The air peeling of onions and garlic takes place by blowing high pressure air through suitable nozzles placed on the air carriage, which has an alternating forward-backward motion. The product thus peeled garlic and or flat peeled onion comes out of the garlic peeling belt, while the scraps come out through a special garlic and onion conveyor belt.
