Efficient Duplex milling for greater economy The highly productive Duplex milling Machines of the THV series enable a fully automatic plate machining without repositioning the material. The result is a high angularity and parallelism of the finished workpiece, and a much shorter processing time. Due to the development of the L variant, itis possible for the customer to use just onemachine to cover the product range bothfor precision plates and rod production.User-friendly setup of the machines is possibledue to the automatic material stop systemfor both areas of use. Rod material machining When machining rod material up to a lengthof 3,000 mm, two additional tables areadded as material supports. Four materialclamps are used automatically. As with plate machining, aligning of the rodmaterial is done over a 1,080-mm long zeropositioning plate that is automatically set tothe actual size during setup of the machine. The bridge for the upper material clamp canbe adjusted electrically by a control panel.This makes setup of the machine as easy aspossible.
