Rod material machining When machining rod material up to a lengthof 3,000 mm, two additional tables areadded as material supports. Four materialclamps are used automatically. As with plate machining, aligning of the rodmaterial is done over a 1,080-mm long zeropositioning plate that is automatically set tothe actual size during setup of the machine. The bridge for the upper material clamp canbe adjusted electrically by a control panel.This makes setup of the machine as easy aspossible.
