Hydrothermal reactors made by KAHL offer gentle and uniform product treatment due to separately adjustable temperature, water content, retention time, mechanical treatment and pressure. AMANDUS KAHL has many years of experience in the design of complete production lines in which different pre- and post-treatments can be combined with hydrothermal treatment depending on the requirements. Soybeans, legumes, cereals, rape and cotton seeds - all these natural raw materials require hydrothermal treatment before being further processed. This may also be the case for feed mixtures. The reason for this is the presence of digestion-inhibiting and harmful components, which can cause considerable damage to the quality of the product and may be harmful to health. Hydrothermal treatment is indispensable in order to reduce inhibitors such as urease or trypsins, but also to modify starch and/or protein and to carry out hygienic treatment. The high and uniform quality of the end product is achieved by the easily controllable and adjustable temperature range.
