The KAHL extruder OEE8 offers all prerequisites for small productions or the use in laboratories: Optimised design in combination with the food-grade stainless steel construction enables easy start and stop as well as fast product change by hydraulically movable dies.
Prior to the extrusion process, the grain meals are mixed with the other ingredients, then conditioned as required and continuously proportioned into the extruder. In the extruder, the components are kneaded, cooked and shaped as they leave the die. The resulting endless strand is cut to the desired length by speed-controlled knives.
