The AMELOCK slotted self-locking, safety nut utilizes the deviation of the AMECOIL AF thread insert as a locking part and is best used in high vibration assembly applications. This model can fully replace cotter pins, lock nuts and washers, and is highly resistant to vibrations while offering locking that persists through several assembly/disassembly operations. It's symmetrical design allows mounting in both directions. This range includes models that can safely operate even at temperatures of up to 600 °C, while the all metal construction allows use in demanding industrial environments.
