This outdoor transceiver and I/O module easily connects field instrumentation signal outputs wirelessly up to distances up to 32 km (line of sight). In addition, it has the capability of handling up to 250 instruments within a network both outdoors and indoors. The transceiver can be equipped with an omnidirectional antenna for localized communication and for longer distances or challenging landscapes we recommend using the optional directional antennas. The standard transceiver can connect to various I/O modules, both analog and digital, to transfer the sensor signal outputs wherever they are needed within the facility or remotely from location to location.
