The unit is designed with a wedge structure, that locks the nut at the proper preload. The device features a compensation mechanism, for the accommodation of nut wear and momentary overload. This compensation method ensures the positional accuracy in different operations. It is available in smaller assemblies, while still maintaining the stroke length.
