The Kerk® NTB Series anti-backlash acme lead screw assembly has been designed specially for higher load applications than the ZBX or KHD series units. The series uses patented take up mechanism to maintain axial stiffness throughout its service life besides ensuring minimal system drag torque. Kerk NTB Series nut assembly eliminates the requirement of high preloading of nut for load compensation. The nut is built with a self-lubricating polyacetal and specially designed for efficient running on the precision rolled acme lead screw. The 303 stainless screws are available with proprietary, long-life Kerkote® TFE coating. The simple and compact design of NTB can be flexibly and easily modified for custom applications.
