Using tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy, the 5100P is a transportable, easy-to-use analyzer optimized to measure either water vapor (H2O) or carbon dioxide (CO2) in select gas streams.
It offers the fast-response, high-accuracy benefits of TDLAS technology in a lightweight, durable and mobile platform that is certified for use in hazardous areas including Class I, Division 2, and both ATEX and IECEx Zone 2.
With an integrated sample system, the 5100P is fast and easy to use – simply connect the sample tubing, power up the analyzer and begin the sample gas flow through the system.
As the tool of choice for users needing to perform measurements in remote locations, or verify fixed analyzer installations, the 5100P is designed to monitor H2O and CO2 in natural gas and other select applications.
MINIMAL MAINTENANCE
Non-contact sensing technology keeps both the laser source and detector separate from the process. This eliminates the need for routine calibration, sensor cleaning, or interferences from process contaminants, increasing measurement uptime and reducing total cost of ownership.
MEASUREMENT CONFIDENCE
Every 5100P is factory calibrated and tested prior to shipment. It also uses an internal reference to prevent any wavelength shift when operated in the field. Line-locking monitors and controls the laser source output continuously to ensure an accurate measurement.
INCREASED EFFICIENCY
TDLAS technology delivers an immediate response to changes in the H2O or CO2 content of the sampled gas, without a delay waiting for the sensor to equilibrate. This allows more measurements to be made in less time.
