The AppConfig application was designed for setting parameters of type solutions and custom applications created in the DetStudio/EsiDet IDE and loaded in programmable controllers or control systems. Its greatest strength is in parametrising type applications loaded in devices communicating via MODBUS RTU protocol. The AMiT company uses AppConfig as a universal tool for configuring devices with a pre-defined type application – the configuration itself is set in a separate configuration file. The user can even create a custom configuration for their type solutions. This way, it is possible to easily adjust the operating parameters of the devices installed on the RS485 interface. System requirements: -Windows 7 and higher -Microsoft .Net Framework 4.5 and higher -Physically present serial line -Screen resolution of at least 1024 × 768 points -At least 1 MB of free disk space Installation: AppConfig is distributed as a portable application – there is no need to install anything. Just extract the downloaded programme file and the given configuration file to a suitable folder. To ease access to the application, it is possible to create a shortcut on the system desktop. -communication via the MODBUS RTU protocol -loading of configuration files for given type applications -loading and saving application custom parameter values from/to files -detecting devices on the RS485 line -loading the current type application parameter values from the device -saving parameter values into multiple devices at the same time
