DM-MPBUS2 is a converter of the RS485 interface (MODBUS RTU and ARION protocols) to the MP-Bus interface by the Belimo company. The converter acts as a master in the MP-Bus network. That enables control of up to 8 servo drives with this interface. In addition, it also allows direct connection of sensors and switches, which digitise analogue signals and sensors and send their values via MP-Bus network. The converter uses 8 LEDs to indicate the current state of communication with individual peripherals on the MP-Bus. At the MODBUS RTU level, the converter also supports control of VAV (variable air volume) units. The RS485 network can simultaneously operate up to 63 of these converters. The DM-MPBUS converter is supported on the parameterisation level in the DetStudio development environment.
