The SpectraStar 2400 series represents the next generation scanning NIR analyzer with fast, accurate analysis of agricultural, food, tobacco, pharmaceutical, and industrial samples. Near-Infrared (NIR) testing requires minimal sample preparation and is generally non-destructive. Developed for convenience and ease-of-use, the SpectraStar 2400 is extremely flexible and can be configured for the analysis of solids, slurries and suspensions. Its new design guarantees higher accuracy and precision than older systems. The SpectraStar 2400s accuracy closely approaches the accuracy of the wet chemical methods that it replaces. Its precision is almost always better than wet chemistry. The SpectraStar 2400 may be delivered with a sample drawer (2400D) or top window (2400W) version. Both configurations offer a large measuring area to minimize analysis time. The system is self contained with a built-in PC and large touch screen display. NIR test results are displayed within seconds using the easy-to-use InfoStar™ routine analysis software. The 2400 is extremely rugged, exceptionally dependable and simple to operate. These analyzers are suited to all sample types, such as powders, grains or paste, viscous or semi-liquid products, and can analyze several constituents simultaneously: dry extracts, water content, proteins, fat content, cellulose, starch, sugars, etc.
