Description

EnDat2.2 in conjunction with MAZeT offers master component that provides interfacing between absolute encoders from HEIDENHAIN and down-line electronic components. Besides EnDat2.2, encoders with EnDat2.1 or SSI interface also finds support. The latest feature is the provision to preselect the clock rate to enable up to 8 MHz of data transfer between an encoder and its down-line electronics. The master components also possess its own cable run time determination and compensation facility. EnDat2.2 holds successful testing and approval in HEIDENHAIN factory operations for commercial sale. With a wide range of functions, the FPGA soft macros guarantees effective distribution of the overall package of control jobs onto the EnDat master component and the µController. The master component is delivered as an FPGA solution, a programming file or an EDIF networking list.
