Type HCI has a AISI-304 stainless steel, corrosion resistant, core and a thick, smooth PVC cover that can handle very low and very high temperatures. This very robust conduit is designed for use in applications where mechanical, corrosion and thermal protection of cables are required. Type HCI is used on equipment and installations in coastal, off-shore and other demanding locations where conditions can be extreme. Other areas of application include equipment, machines, control boxes and enclosures in the food, foundry, chemical and ceramics industries. Construction Stainless steel AISI-304, square locked with cord packing, thick smooth thermoplastic cover (PVC compound). For sizes 1/4”, 1.1/2” and 2” a fully inter locked profile is used. Also available with innercore in AISI-316 (see type HCI-316).
